On Thursday, June 23rd, the Glow Ultra Lounge, housed at the Marriott Marina del Rey, celebrated their Re-launch Party with DJ Cat to support the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition. Glow Ultra Lounge has updated their design and now includes a VIP entrance, new dance floor area, improved lighting features, and nightly specials throughout the summer.

Every Thursday, Glow Ultra Lounge will be supporting the National Ovarian Cancer  Coalition by creating a Teal ambiance for guests to enjoy. Teal is the national color of support for Ovarian Cancer, and Thursday nights will include such items as a Teal Carpet for guests to arrive on, teal lighting once the sun goes down, and a Teal Tini specialty drink, to help raise awareness of this disease and how to get involved. The Marriott Marina del Rey is the first organization to take part in the Teal Tini movement, and portion of the proceeds from every Teal Tini will be given to the NOCC.

Along with supporting the NOCC on Thursdays, Glow Ultra Lounge will include world renowned DJ’s, premium bottle service, and private VIP cabanas every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night.

Glow Ultra Lounge introduced a brand new Happy Hour menu with a selection of $5 appetizers. The Happy Hour begins at 7:00pm and runs until 11:00 every Thursday for lounge goers. The menu includes pulled pork sliders, ahi mini tacos, baskets of fries or onion rings, hummus, and many more items to choose from.

Glow Ultra Lounge offers cabanas for private parties.

Glow Ultra Lounge also kicked off the summer by adding new selections to their drink menu this year. Each bartender has their own signature cocktail, with their name and picture next to it, so that the question, “What is your specialty?” is never a problem for Glow’s bar staff. The new concoctions include unique recipes and names including “O.M.G“, “The Pineapple Express“, “Wiskey River” and “The Passion“.  The personalized menu also includes a Manger’s Special Martini, which is a mixture of vodka, grapefruit juice, and muddled jalapeno. Their wine menu also features a new 9oz option, as well as the standard 6oz option, which is served in a carafe table side.

GLow Ultra Lounge has a massive fire feature to keep guests warm when the sun goes down.

The open-air Glow Ultra Lounge is nestled in a premier scenic bay location, and features large fire pits, delicate water features, and amber-hued lamps. The bordering cabanas and sectional seating provide a spacious, open area for guests to mingle or dance, perfect for birthday parties or lunch gatherings.

Glow Ultra Lounge is open to the public day and night, seven days a week. You can visit www.Marriott.com to find out more about the accommodations and reservation information.
