Club Culinaire of S. California Hosts 31st Annual Picnic des Chefs May 22, 2011: Tickets on Sale Now
Francophile alert! A culinary tour of France awaits you, although you won’t have to use your passport to do it. On May 22, 2011, Club Culinarie of Southern California is hosting their 31st Annual Picnic des Chefs, an elegant and entertaining outdoor soiree featuring gourmet cuisine from different regions of France, with 30 wineries represented and plenty of fun for the kids with a heated pool, water slide, rock climbing wall and petting zoo and much more.
Located in Vasa Park, Agoura Hills with the stunning Malibu mountains in the backdrop, this event will not only be a memory-making experience for the whole family, it also benefits the Concern Foundation and the Hope Program at Childrens’ Hospital as proceeds from the picnic will be donated.
Bring your “boules” and enter in the Petanque Competition; you may win your weight in wine! Additionally you get a game of soccer, badminton and volleyball going as well as a drawing competition for the kids.
For only $2 you can try your luck in their raffle with wonderful prizes such as fine dining certificates, kitchen utensils, gourmet products & more. The first prize winner will receive two tickets on Air Tahiti Nui.

About Club Culinaire
The Club Culinaire is a non-profit organization of chefs, pastry chefs, bakers, cooks, wine stewards, restaurant owners and purveyors of over 150 members specializing in fine cuisine, gourmet products, wines and spirits as well as Friends of the Club who enjoy the dining experience. The Club organizes yearly events open to the public such as the Picnic des Chefs, Bistro and Chef A Table dinner series and the Holiday Gala.
It proudly supports the Concern Foundation, the Childrens’ Hospital Los Angeles Hope Program Angeles and the M.E.G. Foundation in India, where a kitchen has been built to feed orphaned children.
