HBO Luxury Lounge for the 2010 Golden Globes Welcomes Stars to L’Oreal Paris Beauty Suite

HBO led the 68th Annual Golden Globes nominations for a television channel with 12, and to get ready for the show and celebrate, the entertainment giant coordinated a gorgeous gifting suite for the stars and nominees at the Four Seasons Hotel.

The HBO Luxury Lounge provided the celebrities with many excellent gifts, as well as a full pampering experience sponsored by L’Oreal Paris products. Available at the Lounge were treatments including a Makeup Application, Hair Styling, Manicure and Pedicure.

The L’Oreal products on hand were: a Youth Code Serum and Moisturizer fighting stress, fatigue and aging; Double Extend Eye Illuminating Mascara complementing all eye colors; Hydra-Energetic Ice Cold Eye Roller, fighting dark circles and under eye bags; and EverSleek sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner giving users 48-hour frizz control.

The L’Oreal Paris Beauty Suite was visited by many stars taking a relaxing break from the goodies available. Jenny Craig spokesperson and actress Sara Rue was overheard explaining how she lost weight by watching many reality shows while working out on her treadmill and also revealed that she might be changing her famous red locks to a different color soon.

Golden Globes presenter LL Cool J (“NCIS Los Angeles”) also visited the L’Oreal Paris Beauty Suite and signed a Judith Lieber compact, which will be auctioned off by The Women of Worth Foundation with all proceeds going to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.

Ali Fedetowsky and her fiancée Roberto Martinez of “The Bachelorette” fame stopped by the Beauty Suite too and dished on the latest season of “The Bachelor,” starring Brad Womack, who is looking for love a second time on the show. Fedetowsky is predicting that the final rose will be given to Emily Maynard, an early favorite in this season.

Many brands and vendors were present at HBO’s Luxury Lounge at the Four Seasons for traveling, beauty, children and health.

Luxury cashmere designer Magaschoni continued the happy news after being picked as one of Oprah’s “Favorite Things” on her 2010 edition to the annual tradition, by a place at HBO’s Luxury Lounge for its products, 100 percent cashmere scarves, sweaters, cardigans and gloves. Giles Marini (“Brothers and Sisters”) was spotted at the Magaschoni booth, trying on a cardigan, and he said, “This is so soft I’m going to start touching myself as we speak”!

Many celebrities live by these products, and Efren Ramirez (“Eastbound and Down”) is a big fan, even though he can’t pronounce the name and explained that it sounds like a “Harry Potter” spell.

Another busy area of the Luxury Lounge was the Vivitar (www.vivitar.com) section where attendees picked up Vivitar iTwist cameras, perfect for those photos being taken of oneself without a photographer, due to the screen in the front.

Actor and Dancing With the Stars alum Gilles Marini picked up a new Vivitar video camera a the HBO Luxury Lounge on Saturday.  The Brother’s and Sisters hunk loves to ride his motorcycle up and down the coast taking scenic pics.Gorgeous Jessica Lowndes visited the HBO Luxury Lounge at The Four Seasons in Beverly HIlls on Saturday to pick up a Vivitar hand held video camera with night vision. The star looked stunning and told us she was busy running from event to event all weekend.

Family-oriented stars such as The Today Show’s Natalie Morales always puts her kids first!  The host extraordinaire picked up a bright blue Vivitar iTwist camera to give to her kids since they love to take pictures. Beverly Hills Housewife Taylor Armstrong was all smiles and jokes sans hubby at the HBO Luxury Lounge at The Four Seasons in Beverly Hills. She picked up the Vivitar iTwist camera and said she loves to take pictures of her girls snapping photos of themselves. Melissa Joan Hart picked up a new Vivitar underwater video camera at the HBO Luxury Lounge at The Four Seasons in Beverly Hills on Saturday. The actress and mom wanted one for upcoming travel and taking tons of pictures of her kids.

True Blood’s Joe Manganiello and fiance stopped by on Saturday to pick up a new Vivitar iTwist digital camera.  Affectionate and appreciative, the soon to be married couple laughed and joked with each other as they walked around the suite.

Modern Family’s Nolan Gould stopped by the HBO Luxury Lounge at The Four Seasons on Saturday to pick up a new Vivitar Camera.  The young star loved the bright color and playfulness of the blue iTwist camera and said he loves to take pictures of his friends. Modern Family’s Ariel Winter stopped by the HBO Luxury Lounge and picked up a new Vivitar iTwist digital camera.  The young actress says she loves taking pictures on set with her fellow castmates who all have reason to celebrate their nomination for Best Television Series for a Comedy or Musical.

Jesse Williams (“Grey’s Anatomy”) took home a Vivitar 925HD video camera for his upcoming traveling.

For those looking for a getaway, New York’s The Surrey Hotel gave guests to the HBO Lounge a complimentary two-night stay and four hours of private car service to enjoy the city. On Manhattan’s Upper East Side, The Surrey recently completed a $60 million refurbishing, and more information can be found on www.thesurreyhotel.com. Natalie Morales (“The Today Show”) explained that she has Valentine’s Day plans, and they might now include The Surrey Hotel, calling it a great place to stay.

Another children-centric vendor was Hallmark’s recordable storybooks (www.hallmark.com) with titles like “My Little Princess,” “Counting Kisses” and more. Fedetowsky and Martinez picked up a book but she joked, “First comes dog, then comes baby!” The books record the parents’ or grandparents’ voice who reads the book. The narration is then stored on the book, allowing the child to hear the sound of their loved one reading to them when they can’t be present.

A popular booth at the HBO Luxury Lounge proved to be the UPPAbaby stroller (www.uppababy.com), which was shown on entertainment news show Extra for its participation in the Golden Globes festivities. UPPAbaby devotes its brand to developing eco-friendly and child safe pieces from recycled parts, making the three kinds of strollers: Vista, G-Luxe and G-Lite.

C.S. Lee (“Dexter”) visited the booth and revealed that he and his wife are trying for a baby. LL Cool J humorously avoided the UPPAbaby area saying, “No more babies for me!”

Brahmin Handbags (www.brahmin.com) gifted a variety of luxury handbags from their latest collection to the celebrities in attendance, including Perrey Reeves (“Entourage”) and Fedetowsky and Martinez. Marchon Eyewear (www.marchon.com) presented sunglasses by Coach and Michael Kors to Taylor Armstrong from “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”

Additional vendors present at the HBO Luxury Lounge include, Activision (DJ Hero® 2, Guitar Hero ®: Warriors of Rock), The Sports Club/LA, with a one-year complimentary membership, Confiance by Maryam tees and jewelry, The James New York with two consecutive nights in a Corner King Studio and a private car service in the downtown area, Gendarme Fragrance’s 2-oz. bottle of Gendarme and Carriére and Chambord Liqueur and Flavored Vodka.
