The new 12,000 square foot YogaWorks Tarzana studio opened in the area’s new Village Walk in San Fernando Valley this month.  Founded by Maty Ezraty, Chuck Miller and Alan Finger, YogaWorks offers 100s of weekly classes for those who are yoga pros, first-timers and anything in between.

The yoga school mixes classic yoga training with that of a modern fitness class, which gives clients a workout while in a relaxing, spa-like arena. There are several kinds of YogaWorks’ signature BarWorks and SculptWorks classes available, and the Tarzana location is introducing a new class to the repertoire: YogaWorksPlus. YogaWorksPlus will be using small circuit, YW-X, combining strength, flexibility and cardio, while also using the TRX Suspension Training Program.

The new Tarzana studio houses four large rooms, each with Bamboo floors and full-service locker rooms. The services of these rooms for refreshing include complimentary towel service, a Wi-Fi-ready lounge and a special boutique with yoga items and gift pieces. Also, each instructor will be YogaWorks certified and give the clients exactly what they need to obtain their mindful fitness goals.

Tarzana’s YogaWorks sits above the Whole Foods in the area at 18700 Ventura Blvd., with the membership office in Suite 150. For more information, call (818) 457-6900 or visit www.yogaworks.com.
