Her body of work is a tour de force. She has sold out prestigious venues all over the world. She might have found inspiration from her older sister Barbra Streisand, but Roslyn Kind wasted no time in discovering her calling and talent as a multi-faceted entertainer.

Los Angeles has a lot to look forward to on Oct. 8th and 9th, when Roslyn Kind performs at the Catalina Jazz Club.

Now, Roslyn returns to her passion of performing live with her new stage show called “Rozzie’s Back” (Rozzie is a nickname her friends and family call her) featuring songs from her latest album “Come What May”. The New York Times described “Come What May” as “splendid and sizzling”.

The Hollywood Reporter noted, “Roslyn Kind sings like a dream…”

“Forget that Roslyn Kind is Barbra Streisand’s kid sister. She’s too good and too special to have to worry about comparisons…” Don Heckman of LA Times commented on her concert.

The New York Post said, “She’s so good on so many levels; it’s difficult to categorize her.  This elegant, beautiful, petite, dynamo delight rules the stage with a royal command that demands adoration from every seat in the house.”

Roslyn Kind, as an in-demand actress and singer, has accrued an immense biography. Just a few highlights from her career spanning four decades are as follows: her second album “This is Roslyn Kind”, starring roles in the films “The Underachievers” and “I’m Going to Be Famous”, sold out performances of Broadway’s “3 From Brooklyn” in which she starred, and a recent Carnegie Hall debut with Michael Feinstein.

Her long lustrious career began on the afternoon of her high school graduation, when she began recording her first album with RCA, “Give Me You” and appeared three times on the Ed Sullivan Show. Since then, an enduring acting career in Broadway productions, TV shows and movies has allowed Ms. Kind to spread joy to fans with her astounding talent.

She also takes pride in her work for animal welfare causes, Alzheimer’s and AIDS organizations including HSUS, APLA and Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS.
