P.F. Chang’s Home Menu™ Frozen Moments Gift Lounge Celebrates Emmy Awards

On 3 Productions produced the fabulous and well-attended P.F. Chang’s Home Menuâ„¢ Frozen Moments Gift Lounge backstage at The Nokia Theatre in celebration of the 62nd Primetime Emmy® Awards. Talent were invited to visit the Gift Lounge during rehearsals and the night of the show. LAsThePlace.com brings you the highlights of the event.

Frozen Moments of Fame

Each star who stopped by was asked to crack open a fortune cookie and reveal what moment in their career or in TV history they’d most like to see “frozen” in time, which helped support the donation of $50,000 that P.F. Chang’s Home Menuâ„¢ made to The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation, which helps shape the future of television while preserving its past.

“The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation’s programs are made possible in large part by those who support our mission of educating, guiding and providing access for the next generation of the television industry,” said Norma Provencio Pichardo, Executive Director of the Television Academy Foundation.   “We appreciate the support of P.F. Cracking open the fortune cookies in the P.F. Chang’s Home Menu Frozen Moments Gift Lounge brought some very good luck to some nominees – Neil Patrick Harris, Eric Stonestreet, Jane Lynch, Edie Falco, Archie Panjabi and Jim Parsons all collected statues shortly after stopping by the lounge! “Undercovers” star Boris Kodjoe and his wife Nicole Ari Parker were thrilled with the year’s supply of P.F. Chang’s Home Menu frozen entrees for two, he said “We love P.F. Chang’s and we’re definitely not going to go hungry!”

Super mom Kate Gosselin fresh off the stage from rehearsing her intro for the Emmy’s loved that Palm’s touchstone charging dock worked just like her Sonicare toothbrush – she quipped “All phones should charge just like toothbrushes!” She chose a Palm Pixi in pink – and was excited to take pics of her + 8 with the 3.2 mega-pixel camera that’s built-in!

“Vampire Diaries” star Nina Dobrev opted for the Palm Pre plus – and was thrilled to receive the AKG headphones – she totally forgot her headphones at home!

“The Event” star Blair Underwood made a bold statement: “I’m throwing my iPhone away!” – the actor shared that he was ready to transition his family to Palm smartphones!

“Glee” star Matthew Morrison took a few minutes to rock out to the Palm’s Guitar Hero app. – he settled on the Palm Pre that he said he’d be using for “business.”

“The Office” star Craig Robinson is switching from a blackberry to an ATT Pre Plus. He said “sold!” upon seeing the Palm Pre’s features. “I love headphones” he said as he put on a pair from AKG and started grooving.

John Lithgow said “you might have caught me at the perfect time… I’m kind of cranky with my Blackberry right now.” He grabbed a Verizon Pre Plus and AKG headphones!

Actor Alan Cumming said “I’m in between phones right now…I’m using this ghetto thing (a flip phone).” He loved the Pre Plus so much that he wanted to sit down right away and pop his SIM into his new phone!

Emmy winner Edie Falco said “holy mackerel, this is great” when she saw the Palm Pre multi-tasking demo. She said she’s switching from an iphone to a Pre Plus!

“Mr. Sunshine” star Matthew Perry – really lived up to his character’s name when he learned that he’d be getting an AMC Signature Pass – the actor, with a beaming smile said “I’d do just about anything for free movies!”  Perry even took on the anal-retentive nature of his “Friends” character Chandler Bing – by cleaning up some stray popcorn that was on the AMC Theatres display table!

As actor Dennis Quaid collected his AMC Signature Pass he declared that AMC has the best popcorn!

AquaSwiss Watches “Trax Collection”

Stars will now be right on time for work and red carpets with their new Aqua Swiss Trax Collection watches!  “Law & Order: SVU” star Mariska Hargitay chose a white/gun metal grey color – she shared that it will be perfect for her upcoming trip to Hawaii and that she’ll also use the timer function when she goes for a run!

“Law & Order: SVU” co-star Chris Meloni chose a gun metal finish with a red bezel – so excited with his new Aqua Swiss watch he exclaimed – “This is sick” – in the best way – of course!

“Glee” star Jane Lynch and Kate Gosselin have something in common – besides being blonde – they both now have the same watch – an Aqua Swiss watch in white with an orange face!

“Glee” star Matthew Morrison chose an Aqua Swiss watch in gun metal and was excited that with the timer function – he could time his musical numbers on the show!

Singer Jewel settled on a unisex version of the Aqua Swiss watch with yellow sub-dials – she shared that she wanted to be able to share the watch with husband Ty Murray – awwww!!

Actor Dennis Quaid chose the Aqua Swiss Trax Collection watch in black with gun metal – he loved that it was water-proof and plans to wear it surfing!

Hasbro’s Scrabble Flash & Gift Certificates to Stock the Game Closet

Stars were ready to get their game on!  And very excited to stock their homes and their sets with the new Scrabble Flash from Hasbro featuring electronic tiles – and many other Hasbro games!  “True Blood” star Stephen Moyer shared “we’re a Scrabble house – and this new electronic Scrabble Flash version is the shit!”

Stephen’s new wife and “True Blood” co-star Anna Paquin shared “We play games on the set all the time – Jenga and Scrabble are among the favorites!”

The set of “Glee” is about to get even more competitive – both Matthew Morrison and Jane Lynch both scooped up Scrabble Flash and requested that the set be stocked with other Hasbro games!

“Glee” star Amber Riley declared that she’s a word freak!

She and co-star Naya Rivera play Scrabble all the time on set and she can’t wait to try Scrabble Flash!

Actor Dennis Quaid shared his love of games – “We love Scrabble – we call it Squabble at home!”

Emmy winner Edie Falco slipped into a pair of black patent leather Pretty Ballerina flats and said “I feel so pretty, I’ve been called a lot of things but Cinderella is not one of them, but these are perfect!”
