On Thursday, June 17, at the Metropolitan Pavilion, a crowd of young stars came together and gave a “Daddy Play Date” high performance to support Pampers with Dry Max’s campaign to honor fathers and to promote their new diaper line. This event was to honor all the hard work dads put in and embrace the joys of fatherhood.

Some of the stars who attended the event include, Joel Madden from Good Charlotte, Bethenny Frankel from Bravo’s TV show Bethenny Getting Married, Gilles Marini from Brothers & Sisters, and Marlon and Shawn Wayans. Each of these fathers not only attended the event but also shared first hand experiences of being daddies and what that really entails.

The event presented a slew of fun father and son activities, including a diaper dugout, a stroller valet, play arena, interactive games and challenges, bowling, basketball shootout, Wii tennis, and VIB play field with toys. Local and celebrity dads also got to chill out in the “Daddy Skybox Lounge”.

These celebrities helped jump start Pampers’ Father Day Week and promote their new high performance diaper line: Pampers Swaddlers and Cruisers with Dry Max.  Pampers created the campaign to honor the rising and inspiring participation fathers have showed over the past generation! A study showed that 76% of dads believe they participate in parenting activities a lot more than fathers in previous generations. To encourage and increase this participation, Pampers created the campaign, which included this fun loving and inspirational event.
