On Jan 28-30 the classy, white couches of Suite 511 in The London Hotel in West Hollywood cushioned some of Hollywood’s most luminous stars and designers. One wall showcased a collection of Maggie Coulombe’s sleek, cool fashion line, and in the opposite corner, Michael Marcus cosmetics were on display in all their brilliant colors.

As if the two designers were not enough to lure any big star, in front of the balcony that screened the cityscape of Beverly Hills, the jewelry of Rosalina, Hollywood’s most sought-after celebrity jeweler, glistened on a large, white table cloth. Actress, Leven Rambin, from Grey’s Anatomy, and famous DJ, Mia Moretti, modeled Coulombe’s sleek dresses and Rosalina’s remarkable jewelry. They were both breathtaking.

Jamie Jo Harris

In the next room, singer/songwriter Jamie Jo Harris, the newest lifetime member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame, sat on a white cushioned bed peering out a large window. The gathering marked the debut of her first piece from her rock-star jewelry line, Belle Coeur. The design of the necklace is no doubt influenced by Jamie Jo Harris’ rocker sense, however, it also embodies the more sentient and emotional sides of her.

The Belle Coeur necklace or the “beautiful heart” was created for the intended purpose of upholding one’s individuality and self-beauty. The necklace is a keepsake held sacred by the keeper as an aide memoire to treasuring oneself. It is embellished with diamonds and agate, pink and black sapphires that form “wings for freedom” and “a heart for love, hope, and giving.” It is a shrine to self-love and self-flight.

Singer/songwriter Jamie Jo Harris was recently sought-after by the famous nine-time award-winning producer Rudy Perez. Mr. Perez, after listening to her CD In Violet, selectively chose Jamie Jo to compose a song to present to  legendary Leona Lewis. As a songwriter, Jami Jo is not far from the top : Mr. Perez also hand-picked five songs from her music collection to present to Madonna and Beyonce.

Jamie Jo’s music is electric, provocative, but romantic; and it is safe to say that Jamie Jo is a striking sensualist. In the interview, Jamie Jo, poised and confidant, passionately articulated that her songs were meant to relax and soothe its’ listeners, placing them in a European mindset by reminding people “To enjoy each moment, your health and happiness are the most important things”.

Jamie Jo Harris is also quite the philanthropist. She is the founder and president of Young Society for Love & Hope – Diabetes Research Institute, and she also helps support the non-profit Musicares that helps provide financial and emotional support for musicians in times of need. Moreover, Jamie Jo has designated a portion of her proceeds from Belle Coeur to benefit Women of Tomorrow and the Diabetes Research Institute stating. www.jamiejo.com
