Em & Co Hosts 2010 Golden Globes fashion VIP Gift Suite

Fashion has always played a big role during previous Golden Globes celebrations and this year was no exception. Em & Co, a fashion gallery located off 3rd and Fairfax, celebrated style by holding an invitation-only red carpet event Thursday, January 14th.

Guests arrived on the red carpet and were greeted by the flash of photographers’ cameras. They were ushered indoors where DJ Gabriel Diggs played music ranging from Michael Jackson to Prince.

While sipping on Marani cocktails, guests admired jewelry by House of Love and Luck and designs created by world re-known designers like Vivienne Westwood, Stella McCartney and more.

While aisles and shelves housed the creations of famous and up and coming designers, the evenings honored guests Angela Dean and Fedor stole the show! Angels Dean’s hot pink dress trimmed in pink feathers and topped with “bling” was an instant hit that every girl in the room adored.

Angela Dean, who has designed for stars such as Queen Latifah, Katy Perry and Halle Berry, displayed her collection of ready to wear jersey dresses. Em & Co even placed on display Dean’s bright red dress she designed for Paris Hilton’s “can can” perfume ad. A purple sequined mini dress created by Angela Dean was one of the dresses guests couldn’t get enough of.

It was evident, as the night went on and guests continued to mingle and shop, that this event was a success. Upon leaving guests were handed gift bags full of goodies that made for a perfect ending to a perfect night.
