Earthquake Aftermath Continues to Destroy Haiti

Following the devastating earthquake in Haiti, many are searching the rubble and collapsed buildings in search of what may be thousands of injured or dead people.

On Tuesday, January 12, 2010, a magnitude 7.0 earthquake rattled the little island of Haiti. The earthquake was so strong that no building stood a chance. Shacks in the poorer towns up to the National Palace of President Rene Preval came crumbling down. People walk through the rubble searching for loved ones and looking on as they pass those who did not make it.

President Barack Obama and many others are lending their hands, troops, and services to help Haiti in this time of disaster.
