Club Culinaire of French Cuisine Hosts First Annual Showcase at Sofitel Hotel

Dazzling over 600 guests’ taste buds at the trendy Sofitel Hotel, the Club Culinaire of French Cuisine held its first annual boutique trade show.  Unique, gourmet food was for the sampling such as five-hour braised Angus beef, soft slices of lardo, black Truffle butter, local Salmon from Michel Blanchet, duck sausage with lingonberries, fruit tarts and pizzas imported from southern France.

Members of the Club Culinaire French Cuisine manned all the 60 booths displaying assorted high-end wine and food products like caviar, foie gras, lamb, veal, oysters, jumbo shrimp, sweet pluots, grapes and New Zealand apples.

Club Culinaire

The Club Culinaire of French Cuisine/California is a non-profit, founded in 1980.  Members are chefs, pastry chefs, bakers, cooks, sommeliers, restaurant owners and purveyors involved in French cuisine and products.  The Club has approximately 150 members between Santa Barbara and San Diego, dedicated to educating the public about the history and changing face of French cuisine and lifestyle.

Club Culinaire

The Club Culinaire hosts events throughout the year including a Holiday Gala, the Bistro and Chef A Table Dinner Series. They also support Childrens Hospital Los Angeles/ The HOPE Program and the M.E.G. Foundation in India, where a kitchen has been built to feed children who have been orphaned.
