In creating a comfortable relationship that will benefit the client, the Life Coach District of Columbia listens objectively, and spiritually helps the client center and “connect” in their own unique way. They may not always know at first what is best suited to them, and through a process of discovery, the Life Coach District of Columbia assists their client to attaining that connection and to learn how to do so on a regular basis. We all have that deep human need to connect, whether it’s with other humans, our work, our passions, nature and animals, spiritually and most importantly, to our Self.

It has been told that the highest form of consciousness has no attachment; it’s about “being” compared to “doing.” In our society and culture, we are a very doing species. We keep busy for many reasons and most often without realizing how much we are doing, or feel we have to do; sometimes we either make light about how busy we are or use it as an excuse for not “doing” something else. If you allow yourself to just be, to be free of doing anything, even just for a moment, it would be interesting to see what connection you may feel in that moment; with what and with whom.

It’s in that moment that you may also free yourself from your identity. It’s within our identity where our ego survives, with an attachment to who we describe ourselves to be. So who are you in terms of spirituality? It’s both curious and brave to dive deep into the meaning of our existence, and to bring spirituality into our day to day experience. It can be fun, adventurous and extremely transformational and shouldn’t be taken for granted. As a Life Coach District of Columbiah, the coach doesn’t necessarily need to be of the same faith or similar spiritual belief system as the client in order to work with them either.
