Los Angeles Dodgers Owner Frank McCourt Fires CEO Wife Jamie McCourt
Thursday, October 22, 2009, just one day after the Los Angeles Dodgers were knocked out of the playoffs, team owner Frank McCourt fired his wife, Jamie McCourt. Jamie had just become CEO in March only after serving as club president since August 2005. The recently seperated couple will have to endure numerous court battles for control of the team valued at a very high price. With the help of her lawyer, attorney Dennis Wasser, Jamie will further address the divorce and all other issues in court.
