The “I Live Here” Charity Event to benefit “I Live Here” Humanitarian Emergency
A benefit to fund a humanitirian emergency – Malawi Project in the Kachere Juvenile Prison in Lilongwe, Malawi. Many orphans are incarcerated for petty crimes they commit just to survive. There is extreme overcrowding, severe food shortages and abysmal sanitation conditions and is a horrigying reality for these children. I Live Here through OpUSA will be implementing a health and education initiative at Kachere prison.
Malawi is one of the world’s poorest countries and has an AIDS reate close to twenty percent. The disease touches every aspect of daily life in the African nation, introducing immense chaos. Read how you can help here…
