Chiara Pietrogiovanna has entered the field of coaching with a B.A. in Psychology from California State University Northridge, and an M.A. in Psychology from Pepperdine University in Los Angeles, California. Chiara is now following her bliss with her Conscious Coaching practice after she has been trained as a Core Energy Coach through the Institute for Professional Empowerment Coaching (iPEC) and is a member of the International Coaching Federation as well as the Compass Coaching Network.  She is now using her talent and education to help others in the process of finding their bliss.

How Chiara Pietrogiovanna is Bringing Positive Change to Her Clients

Chiara Pietrogiovanna’s qualifications come from her B.A. and M.A., as well as from her Masters degree in life.  She was born and raised in Padua, a city in Northern Italy.  Her instinct told her from a young age that happiness is temporary and superficial, unless it comes from one’s true essence and genuine passions.  In her search for meaning, she educated herself about Psychology and had a burning curiosity about the mental health field.

Her love and respect for us as human beings comes from her experience as a retail store owner while in Italy, and her Managerial experience at a high end store here in the United States.  Perfecting the art of customer service, she learned what made her customers happy, although trying on and purchasing an expensive dress made a customer happy, Chiara saw through its temporary nature.  Regardless of the price tag, being able to afford expensive material things doesn’t mean that someone is happy at their core.

After experiencing the painful loss of her sister and being in her mid twenties, Chiara was presented with an opportunity to come to the United States to discover her own purpose and passions.  Integrating into a new culture as well as going through her own healing process, Chiara now understood what fulfillment meant in relation to the healing process of others. Her introduction to coaching came on the heels of completing her Masters degree and once again, wanted to learn more. 

What attracted her to coaching was the positive creation of one’s future with intention and purpose.  Life Purpose Coaching focuses on positive psychology which is more in alignment with who Chiara is.  With actionable steps and identified goals she feels she can help her clients get the results they are looking for and at a faster pace.  The outcome she helps her clients get to is one of empowerment in finding their purpose and exuding true authenticity. 

Having come from an Italian background gives Chiara a unique outlook on American culture and our diverse subcultures.  After she volunteered for a crisis intervention helpline, it enhanced her innate ability to put her clients at ease, allowing their true essence to come out.  It is no wonder she has become an expert in working with those on discovering their life purpose and enhancing their awareness.

Her clients go through a process that leads them in the direction of knowing who they are and their overall sense of “being.”  Once they have an awareness of their being, their true essence, the expansion happens in bringing that being to everything they do. In the consistency of their “being” they experience a higher level of consciousness and more fulfillments in life.  It is clear to see what it is about her favorite quote “Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors for you where there were only walls.” by Joseph Campbell that has had an impact on her coaching style.
