Lynda Bishop Shows Others the Importance of Building a Strong Support System and Community
Being that Lynda Bishop is someone who has a true passion for helping others and enjoyment of connecting people through networking, she is the perfect example in showing how to be a highly effective part of a successful work team. Some of the ways she is teaching others how to build a strong support system and community is through Leadership Development, teambuilding, improving performance, and how to be empathetic when engaging in a customer service role. She also coaches individuals on building their strengths, health and wellness, personal development, quality of relationships, and successfully managing major life changes.
Lynda Bishop felt a strong calling to help others empower themselves at a young age, when she challenged herself in her twenties by becoming a refugee coordinator, and began coordinating women’s workshops focused on building self-esteem. She learned some of her own lessons of self empowerment when she became a divorced single mother of two. Her nurturing qualities come from being the dedicated mom who started her own home improvement business, where she realized that her clientele of elderly women were benefited most by her ability to listen to them while she worked.
She experienced personal progress by buying her first home, getting a job in customer service and went to night school to earn her B.A. in Psychology; her efforts were being noticed and she was promoted into corporate training. She then became the National Director for another company and continued her education by getting her M.A. in Professional Counseling; soon after working as a therapist part-time on the side. In the midst of her climbing the corporate ladder and achieving her degrees, Lynda Bishop never lost sight of the importance of her family and still knew that he r purpose was not yet fulfilled.
Having gone through a divorce herself, she was inspired to lead a divorce recovery group which she ran for two years. It was during that time that Lynda heard about this new profession called coaching which was more in line with what she would want to practice. She was excited about working with those who were ready for positive change in their lives and would play an active role in their own reinvention.
What drew her to coaching and what she appreciated most was that the expert in the coaching session is the client, focusing on the present and where the client wants to be moving forward. All the skills and knowledge she accumulated over time had been a contribution to her new career path. In coaching her executive clients she now shares from her own corporate accomplishments, how success is a result of collaborating with all the layers of individuals in a company environment; her life and transition coaching receives the benefits from her therapy and group facilitation experience.
Lynda Bishop is the support system you are looking for if you are going through a challenge in the areas of relationship, career, financial, and parenting or if you want to discover your life purpose. She is offering a 30 minute complimentary session where you can ask her questions about her coaching services and how she can introduce you to a community you can relate to, and with. She does one on one life coaching over the phone and in person, group coaching, and corporate coaching and training services.
