Los Angeles Magazine Presents Their 3rd Annual The Food Event
From gourmet food sampling, wine tastings, to celebrity chef demonstrations, LA Magazine’s The Food Event is the location for all foodies, gourmands, wine lovers, home chefs, and anyone who has a palate to please. On Sunday, October 26th, the culinary extravaganza will take place at Saddlerock Ranch in the Malibu Hills.
Attendees will have a chance to taste cuisine from more than 15 of LA’s best restaurants including Café Rodeo at Luxe Hotel, Chaya, Dakota Steakhouse, Frida, and more. Wine tastings from more than a dozen wineries and vineyards will be on hand to complement the amazing array of cuisine. There’s even beer tasting for those who prefer a different type of brew. Along with the amazing food and wine, come learn about the latest kitchen trends and the hottest culinary travel destinations.
Once your bellies are filled, catch some cooking action when you get up close and personal with celebrity chefs and their fabulous recipes. They’ll dish out tips and techniques. From Thai sensation Tommy Tang, Grace’s Neal Fraser, Mozza’s Nancy Silverton, to Top Chef contestant Betty Fraser, and Two Food Dudes to name just a few, there will be plenty of entertaining from today’s brightest culinary stars. To make things even more personal, join in on conversations with experts about cheese and wine pairing, selecting the perfect beers, and cooking with the newest trends. Learning has never been more delicious.
The Food Event will also feature live entertainment by D.J. Richard Blade, a silent auction, prizes, and drawings. The day will be hosted by Cher Calvin of KTLA Morning News and Merrill Shindler of Zagat Los Angeles and CBS Radio’s Feed Your Face. The Food Event will be held at the Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu, from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. Tickets are $60 (all demos, food, beverages, parking, and ticket fees included).
