Mother/Daughter Exhibition Opens at James Coleman Gallery
This talented mother/daughter pair, Christa and Katine Zinner happens to be a contemporary abstract painter and a classical figurative sculptress who created an exhibition together, the "Tides of Emotion."
Opening on September 27, this exhibit will showcase a variety of Katina Zinner’s large format and colorful abstract oil on canvas paintings, as well as Christa Zinner’s bronze nudes and busts.
They are the daughter and wife of the late Peter Zinner. Daughter Katina is a TV, feature film, and documentary editor/producer, though Christa is a former 60’s iconic fashion photographer and now sculptress.
The "Tides of Emotion" exhibit will run from September 27 - October 16, 2008, with an opening celebration being held on September 27th from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. The opening reception is being presented by real estate magazine SPACE, with proceeds of the sales to benefit the non-profit organization, Heal The Bay.
