Andrew Keegan Hosts Hollywood’s First Green Charity Event at the Avalon Hollywood
Globan Green USA will benefit from “Humanitaire” at the Avalon on August 29th, with Andrew Keegan hosting and DJ headliners battling for the eco-friendly prize.
"It’s such a necessity for every individual to take responsibility for what surrounds them. I’m proud to be involved with a project that brings so much environmental consciousness," claims celebrity host Andrew Keegan.
Humanitaire has chosen Global Green USA to retain 100% of the ticket sales to support the green initiative. Features will include a green carpet that was created by bio cell technologies, a grassroots garden for green sponsors to promote products, a green gallery for local artists to showcase their work, as well as services and eco friendly awareness to event goers.
Local DJ talent will be introduced by Keegan as they compete for the eco-friendly prizes, including a residency at the Avalon Hollywood, a weekend car rental from Toyota of Hollywood, a professional photo shoot from Jody Dominique studios on Melrose, an E300 Electric scooter and Rip stick from Razor USA, a flat of FIJI water, a case of organic beer from Eel River Brewing Company plus more surprise items.
Keeping with the green theme, the full power source during the “Battle of the DJ’s” will be bio-diesel generators.
Once the audience chooses LA’s next DJ phenomenon, DJ headliners, DJ Rap and LA Riots will all conclude the exciting show.
Keegan, Global Green, DJ Rap and LA Riots are big supporters in the promotion of global warming awareness. Green sponsors supporting “Humanitaire” will be donating the eco-friendly prize.
"Global Green USA is pleased to be the beneficiary of the launch event of this exciting new initiative run by young people for young people," said spokesperson Ruben Aronin.
Toyota of Hollywood, 97.1 Free fm, Fiji Water, BP Helios House, Eel River Brewing company and Bio Smart will donate environmental awareness products, given to VIPs in a hemp Ideal Bites tote.
The event will take place on Friday, August 29, 2008 from 8:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.

VIP guests can arrive at 7:00 p.m. for a pre-party and an hour of free organic beer. In addition, VIP guests will be offered a vegan/vegetarian buffet.
