The 2nd Annual Choreography Media Honors in Association with Dance Camera West honored the craft and art of choreography for the camera on June 13th at the Director’s Guild of America.
Presented in conjunction with the 7th Annual 2008 Dance Camera West Media Film Festival ( a month long festival that devotes itself to the merging of cinema and choreography), CMH presented a gala screening event which featured videos by all the honorees for this year’s event as well as a touching tribute to choreographer Michael Kidd.
Cast members from “So You Think You Can Dance” and “Dancing with the Stars” were special guests at a VIP party preceding the screening, which was attended by premier dancers, choreographers, producers and directors within the entertainment industry.
