The ravishing “Amazing Race” contestant Shana Wall hosted “The Dogs Next Door,” a spectacular star-studded event benefiting the non-profit animal welfare organization, Dogs In Danger. The Reality Cares’ event was held at Michael Scott’s posh Beverly Park private estate in Beverly Hills, where reality television’s top stars came with families and of course their four-legged friends to help an organization that is close to their hearts. "Every four seconds a dog is needlessly euthanized in our country alone, simply due to lack of space in our shelters".

When I learned about the mission of Dogs in Danger I jumped at the opportunity to be their national spokesperson," states Shana Wall. "My hope is that our fundraiser brings awareness to this issue so that we can continue to save theseJai Rodriques dogs from their otherwise tragic fates".

After her stint on “Amazing Race,” Wall jumped at the opportunity to get involved with Dogs In Danger, and help in any way that she can. “L.A. people love animals so much that you know you can get people together for the animals because we’re such a great city of people that love animals, which is amazing. So it came together nicely,” Wall stated at the function.

The event was a great fundraising event that not only raised money for this organization, but also was a fun and fabulous way to enjoy the sun and mingle with other celebrities who share concern and love for their pets.

Other celebrities in attendance at the party included Ryan Seacrest, Maria Menounos, Michael Maloney, Deborah Gibson, James Madio, Rebecca Cardon, Ileana Douglas, Lisa Foxx, Tian Kitchen, Ariel Winters, Mike O’Hearn, Lindsay Crolius, Kristen Renton, Anja Migdal, Arianne Zucker, Matt Grant, Kyle Lowder, Joanna Cassidy, Morgan Lily, Kristen Renton, Lorena Segura, Erin Hamilton, Jesse Daly, Brandy Yant, Carolyn Hennesy, Jai Rodriguez, and Jeff Sutphen.
Guests were treated to delicious food and cocktails as they mingled poolside and rocked out to music by DJ Dimitri Hamlin. In addition, Jai Rodriguez emceed a doggy fashion show in which several of the celebrities walked down the runway with one of the adorable pooches that was saved by Dogs in Danger by their side.Deborah Gibson and her cute new furry friend.

Dogs In Danger launched in October 2007, with an important goal in mind: to get shelter dogs adopted into loving homes before their time runs out. The animal welfare organization was recently featured on “Oprah” for their hard work in raising awareness of just how many dogs are currently being killed in shelters. Dogs In Danger emphasize the power of compassion stating that Americans would do more to help and adopt shelter dogs, if only they knew how many dogs shelters were forced to euthanize. Also passionate about cooking, Wall’s love for animals started as a kid where she grew up with rescued dogs, cats, rabbits, turtles and birds. Continuing to rescue dogs from freeways and streets, she also spent time feeding starving dogs while in South America. It is for this reason that she is happy to be a spokesperson for Dogs in Danger, which is an organization extremely dear to her. Wall, who has completed culinary school, has also started a catering company called Dinner Belles. Wall is excited to reveal that Dinner Belles will be the subject of a new reality show, though she cannot yet reveal any details of that show.
