Veronica Diaz Brings Her Argentine Flair to Hollywood
Hollywood is the center of the acting world. And the best actors from all over the world bring their talents to Hollywood. Actress Veronica Diaz, a native of Buenos Aires, began her acting career at an early age working with her father who acted in local theatres. Her natural thirst to express her creative talents also led her to study ballet as a child at the prestigious Teatro Colon.
After competing at The International Festival of Ballet of Brazil, Veronica Diaz won a full scholarship to study at the Miami Hispanic Ballet. Coming to America opened up a whole new world for Veronica to let her talent soar. While in Miami she appeared in the play Requiem for Yarini, where she played a legendary Cuban mistress. This led Veronica to her first award as “Revelation Actress of the Year.” Veronica also had a recurring role on the famous Sabado Gigante.
Soon, Veronica Diaz would find herself in New York City with a full scholarship with the Joffrey Ballet School and Company and danced with the Ballet Hispanico of New York. During this same time, Veronica studied acting with Tony and Maria Greco. After working with legendary George Faison and Bob Fosse’s muse Anne Reinking, Veronica was encouraged to
move to Los Angeles to pursue her passion, acting.
Veronica comes to California!
As Veronica landed in sunny Southern California, her talents started to manifest into major roles and major deals. Veronica’s beautiful Latin look is highlighted by her hazel eyes which makes her stand out in a crowd. Her beautiful face and slender athletic body has enabled her to be cast in a multiple roles. Her acting, theatre, dance and other performance skills makes her marketable for television, theatre or modeling. This SAG, AFTRA and AEA actress is one of the few actresses who seems to work non-stop and is truly a recession proof star.
Veronica landed a holding deal with CBS and then went on to work with John Stamos on Jake in Progress, Emotion, AI3 and Nip/Tuck. She also produced and is one of the leads on Project Quantum, soon to be launched on the web. Her next project is Horror 88 which is ready to film and is produced by Hassan Medina and directed by Joaquin F. Palma. Also in the works are two other feature untitled films that are in preproduction as well.
