Giving out 31 financial grants over the last year, End Dependence hopes to increase that number, with a special emphasis in Los Angeles County where methamphetamine abuse is a burgeoning epidemic, especially among women and Latinos, and where cocaine and alcohol dependency are chronic threats to individual and public well being.
