Join Comedians Who Will Perform to End Dependence
On May 17th, the Ricardo Montalban Theatre in Hollywood will host several comedians for End Dependence – A Night of Comedy. Hosted by Jay Davis (Dane Cook’s “Tourgasm”, Laugh Factory’s “Life of the Party”) and featuring top rated comedians, Mick Betancourt (Comedy Central, HBO), Bret Ernst (Vince Vaughn’s “Wild West Show”, The Comedy Store), Todd Glass (“Jimmy Kimmel Live”, “Sarah Silverman Show”, Conan O’Brien), Tracey MacDonald (Spike TV, “Star Search” Grand Champion), and John Roy (“The Tonight Show”, Craig Ferguson), this comedy showcase will raise awareness for End Dependence, which aids in the long term recovery of people whose lives have been destroyed by substance abuse.
Other celebrities expected to attend the fundraiser will include, Jay Davis, Jeff Bozz (Sunset Tan), Vincent de Paul, Alana Curry, George Gray, Marcus Allen, Annie Wood, Simona Fusco and many more.
Founded in 2007, End Dependence provides individuals access to the most innovative, biologic therapies available for the treatment of addiction. Giving out 31 financial grants over the last year, End Dependence hopes to increase that number, with a special emphasis in Los Angeles County where methamphetamine abuse is a burgeoning epidemic, especially among women and Latinos, and where cocaine and alcohol dependency are chronic threats to individual and public well being.
