Choreography Media Honors set to Honor Achievements in Choreography for the Camera
The 2nd Annual Choreography Media Honors in Association with Dance Camera West is set to honor the craft and art of choreography for the camera on June 13th at the Director’s Guild of America.

Presented in conjunction with the 7th Annual 2008 Dance Camera West Media Film Festival ( a month long festival that devotes itself to the merging of cinema and choreography), CMH presents a gala screening event to honor amazing achievements in choreography. Dance in film, television, commercial and video will all be celebrated at this event.
Cast members from “So You Think You Can Dance” and “Dancing with the Stars” will be special guests at a VIP party preceding the screening, while a reception for all in attendance will immediately follow the screening.
A panel discussion will follow this event on June 14, 2008, where topics will include the collaboration between directors and choreographers.
Keeping in line with the First Annual CMH event - which was hosted by Paula Abdul, Carrie Ann Inaba, Kenny Ortega, Adam Shankman and was attended by premier dancers, choreographers, producers and directors within the entertainment industry – this year’s CMH will be just as exciting with major celebrities from the world of dance stepping in to host the event.
