Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 Now Available for Mac Users

Named the “Best in Show” and given the 2008 Editors’ Choice Awards by the Mac Observer and the 2008 Macworld Award by Macsimum News, this software offers Photoshoppers of all levels both power and simplicity, paving the way for extraordinary results.

In order to achieve the top quality results you’re aiming for, Photoshop Elements 6 has updated their editing tools. With several new options to tweak your images, you’ll be able to create the perfect shot every time.
• Photomerge allows users to obtain the elusive perfect group shot. Simply choose and combine the best facial expressions and body language from a series of photos to create one perfect image.
• The Quick Selection tool enables Photoshoppers the ability to zero in on the area they want to work on by simply clicking and dragging over the troubled spot. The Quick Selection tool will then automatically snap to the edges of the desired area.
• Three edit modes allow users of any level to tweak all aspects of their photos. Choose between the Guided, Quick or Full edit modes and let your creativity soar. If you are a beginner, choose the Guided option and you’ll be walked through the entire process step-by-step.
• An improved conversion tool is also available to dramatically covert color images into beautiful black and white photos.
These tools are easily accessible, as Photoshop Elements 6 offers new tabs, making them quick to find. Users will also be provided with a clean, uncluttered space for editing, placing the focus solely on the photo.
Show Off Your Photos
Mac users now have more options for displaying their images with Photoshop Elements 6. Users can get creative by customizing layouts for photo books, scrapbook pages, greeting cards and CD/DVDs to show off all their hard work. In addition, photos can be showcased through a personal online album, professional-quality prints of hardbound photobooks and by turning photos into real U.S. postage stamps.

Running on Leopard for versions of Mac OS X 10.4.8 and higher, the software is a Universal Binary application that will run natively on PowerPC and new Intel-based Macintosh systems.
