The Sheriff’s Youth Foundation to host the 23rd Annual “Salute to Youth” Benefit Dinner
The Sheriff’s Youth Foundation will host the 23rd Annual “Salute to Youth” benefit dinner – with this year’s theme being “A Venetian Masquerade” – where Gerard Butler will present an award to honoree Ryan Kavanaugh.
As the CEO of Relativity Media, LLC Kavanaugh is being honored for his contribution to the support and development of the foundation.
Other guests expected at the dinner on Thursday, April 24th, 2008 include Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and Sheriff Leroy D. Baca.
The Sheriff’s Youth Foundation aims to help at-risk youth in underprivileged neighborhoods by offering opportunities for them to grow and develop various tools that they’d need in order to succeed later in life. The youth in the program is teamed up with various role models from the Sheriff’s Department as well as from the local community as they take part in positive activities to help them gain confidence and resist any other negative influences.
The “Saulte to Youth” Benefit Dinner will take place on Thursday, April 24, 2008 at
6:30 p.m. at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, located at 9876 Wilshire Blvd.
