Aerial Tours
* LA - Hollywood - Santa Monica
This 50 minute flight gives passengers a bird’s eye view of the dramatic sights of Universal, Disney & Burbank Studios, the Hollywood Sign, Griffith Park Observatory, downtown LA, the Santa Monica Pier and Santa Monica Mountains.

* Sunset Romance Flight
For a more intimate experience, this flight takes off at dusk and flies along the spectacular coastlines of Santa Monica and Malibu. After 50 minutes, passengers will be returned just as the city lights brighten up the skyline. If you’re looking to make things even more memorable, a dinner package can be added that includes wine, entrées and dessert.

Discovery Flight
Seeing Los Angeles from the air can be an extraordinary experience, but for a more intense adventure, you can take the controls yourself. This may sound daunting, but it’s actually quite safe and easy. After a brief introduction, a certified pilot will walk you through the steps necessary to take off and guide the plane in the air. Of course your instructor has ultimate control, which means you’ll have a safety net if you over steer or go off course. A roughly half hour trip, this flight is FAA-logable, so if you catch the flying bug after piloting the four-seater Piper Cherokee, it will count towards the hours necessary for your  license.

Flight Training

After getting a taste of what it’s like to fly a plane on the Discovery Flight, budding pilots can then go on to train for their license. With Hollywood Aviator’s certified instructors, students will be trained by  experts in every level of aeronautical education from basic ground instruction to flying multi-engine aircraft to piloting for a national airline.

Located at the Van Nuys Airport at 7535 Valjean Ave, Hollywood Aviators also offers summer aviation camps for kids and free FAA seminars where students can learn about local airspace, mountain flying cockpit safety and IFR instrument scanning.
