‘Intent’ Overtakes Transformers 2 and Spider-Man 4 in IMDB searches
There is a ton of buzz happening on upcoming indie feature film “Intent”. So much so it that it received more traffic and searches on IMDB than Transformers 2 and Spider-Man 4 combined. IMDB ranks films based on search requests, and “Intent” is the hightest ranked film in development on the site.
Their site along had another 1.5 million visitors. So what’s the deal?
Critics are already raving about the movie’s screenplay. The writing has been called "brilliant and visually stunning" at screenplay competitions in London and Toronto. Sundance recognized it as "a wild ride with a knock-out punch."
The screenplay of the heavily anticipated suspense thriller has been described as a combination of Silence of the Lambs and CSI.
The story begins with a kidnapping in a suburban Ohio neighborhood and leads police on a manhunt that comes full circle.
"We are thrilled with the positive feedback that we’ve received and appreciate all the fans who have visited our website," said Tim Crockett, Intent Screenwriter. "We look forward to finalizing the cast in February."
Word is that producers are in talks with potential players such as James Gandolfini (The Sopranos), actor Joaquin Phoenix and actress Ashley Judd.
