Find Your Inner Peace at Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa
Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa in Maui recently celebrated the opening of the Maluhia Serenity Pool with a traditional Hawaiian blessing ceremony.
With a new tile flooring in the lobby, a reflecting pond and marble and wood registration pods, the resort is sure to provide a serene atmosphere from the moment you walk in.

The wonderful addition to the resort and spa – a transformation that was two years in the making and cost $60 million – features six over-the-water illuminated cabanas for spa treatments, and more importantly, health-promoting saline filtered heated water.
With the word “Maluhia” being a Hawaiin term for “peace,” the Maluhia Serenity Pool, which features 4,663 square feet of water surface and overlooks the Pacific Ocean and Maui’s neighbor islands, offers the perfect serene ambiance with relaxing sunset and ocean views.
The outdoor spa feature is meant to offer the ultimate relaxation and renewal experience by offering treatments that are surrounded by water, while serene Hawaiian music plays in the background.
Other features of the Serenity Pool include:
· A Depth of up to 4′8"
· Night enhanced fiber optic lighting
· 180 degree unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean
While the Serenity Pool is reserved for resort guests that are 18 and over, the Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa offers 4 additional outdoor pools for guests to choose from.
Makani pools & Hot Tubs are 2 pools that were named after the trade winds as well as the cool breeze that flows in this area.
Wailele (Hawaiian for waterfall) pools & slides features 3 slides as well as a sandy beach to enjoy other activities such as keiki.

In addition to the outdoor amenities, the resort - which houses 546 redesigned guestrooms - also offers plenty to take advantage of indoors, including:
· Marriott’s Revive bed and linen collection
· All new baths that feature a Kohler Tea for Two deep-soaking tub
· Hardwood floors and plasma screen televisions in the executive suites
· The new Mandara Spa, which was featured in the 2007 Hot Spa List in the Conde Nast Traveler and by Concierge.com in the 2007 Gold List.
· 11 treatment rooms, which include a new oceanview deluxe couples suite, or an oceanfront cabana located on the ocean’s edge.
· A full-service salon with facilities for hair, make-up and nail services.
· A state-of-the-art 2,100 square-foot fitness center located adjacent to
Mandara Spa.
· 100% smoke free environment
· Mala Wailea, a new restaurant from Hawaiian Regional Cuisine Chef/Owner Mark Ellman, scheduled to open on January 28, 2008.
