Joanna Krupa: The Newest Face of Fredericks of Hollywood
Joanna Krupa, July’s 2005 Playboy cover girl and star of upcoming reality show, is Fredericks of Hollywood’s newest face. With a rising career and plenty to be proud of, Joanna graces the upcoming cover of L.A. Direct Magazine and gives readers a glimpse into her life.
A Chicago native, Joanna, who relocated to Los Angeles with her family, is already making a name for herself in Los Angeles. Named “2004 Model of the Year” by Maxim Magazine, Joanna has also won the vote for the “Sexiest Woman In The World” by various magazines worldwide. Along with supermodels Gisele Bundchen, Ana Beatriz, Adriana Lima, and Josie Maran, Joanna is currently able to relish in being one of the most requested supermodels.
Dollhouse clothing and Pherlure fragrance, the summer issue of GQ Italy and the July cover of Maxim England are just some of her most recent shoots and campaigns, along with Fredericks.
Showing that she’s more than just a beautiful face – and body – Krupa has also sent out a positive message by posing for PETA’s fall campaign, “I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur.”
At 26 and living what appears to be a glamorous life, Joanna admits she that and her 22 year-old sister Marta do go club-hopping – think Hollywood hotspots Element and Les Deux – and love to spend the night dancing nonstop, even admitting to some minor altercations with hotel heiress Paris Hilton.
In an interview with L.A. Direct, Joanna mentions a story that took place last year when Paris allegedly screamed at her and some of her girlfriends after the gals walked into the VIP section of a bar in Los Angeles. Exclaiming, “You don’t do that! Who do you think you are!” Paris then tried to get the Krupa sisters kicked out of the bar.
Clarifying that they’ve had no problems with Paris’ younger sis, Nikki, Marta backs up her sister, adding, “…but every time we would bump into Paris, she would always have a problem with us. I can still hear her screaming at us. She was jumping up and down like a little baby. She was almost crying. There were a lot of times that we bumped into her or Lindsey Lohan, and they are always so crabby.”
Dramas aside, the altercations so far have not crossed over into a brawl, and Joanna hopes to keep it that way.
“Life’s already too short as it is. I actually want to give back and be helpful and do good in my life, not be a step-up girl that walks around thinking that I’m a princess,” she admits to L.A. Direct Magazine.
