Santa and Mrs. Claus IFly at Universal City WalkRudolph, the red nosed reindeer has been retired. Now that Santa and Mrs. Claus can soar 30 feet in the air at the inauguration of Universal Citywalk’s most anticipated indoor sky-diving adventure, IFly Hollywood.

Just in Time for the Holidays
Located in Universal Citywalk, across from Cafe Tu Tu Tango, Hard Rock Cafe, and next to Jillian’s, IFly Hollywood has everyone buzzing. Spending two years in construction, IFly Hollywood is sure to be a big hit for the holiday season and even Santa and Mrs. Claus flew by to show off some of their amazing stunts. Carolers sang from a festive sled, and spectators enjoyed the celebratory holiday show.

Innovative Design
IFly Hollywood is the only extreme indoor sky-diving facility of its kind, with wind speeds reaching over 125 M.P.H inside a clear acrylic vertical wind tunnel for guests to enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view and the sensation of flying in the open air.

The world’s tallest wind tunnel uses two enormous electric fans, (the equivalent of over 800 horse-power), to propel guests into mid-air for an experience like no other. With wall-to-wall airflow, the wind is smooth and easy to ride. The rush of wind lofts the body into suspension, and with the help of certified instructors, guests literally float on air.

No Experience Necessary
Prior to entering the IFly Hollywood wind tunnel, guests are trained in basic maneuvers with an emphasis on safety. The training includes a short video and an instructor. Guests learn hand signals to communicate with their flight instructor inside the wind tunnel. They will also receive instructions for optimum aerial coordination within the tunnel depending on their level of experience. Every guest is provided with a flight suit, helmet, goggles and ear plugs, but don’t expect a parachute with IFly Hollywood. A little balance and coordination is all that’s needed to fly high.

Every IFly Hollywood flight session is the equivalent of one sky-diving jump. Upon completion, guests are given a souvenir Certificate of Completion. Return flyers can learn even more awesome maneuvers and advanced techniques.

Anyone of All Ages
An additional benefit to the indoor sky-diving experience is that people of all ages can experience the thrill of the free-fall sport. Most open air-skydiving companies have age requirements, prohibiting teens and children. But with IFly Hollywood, anyone from three to a hundred can ride the wind.

Human Flight
It is important to note that IFly Hollywood is not a simulation or a ride. Guests actually fly with an instructor on-hand to ensure safety and enjoyment. The height of flight is based on the level of experience, but whether guests are four feet, ten feet or twenty feet off the ground, the feeling is the same…incredible!

Take flight at Universal City Walk. You’ll never want your feet to touch the ground again.
