This tall, dark and handsome Buffalo, NY native recently landed in the city of Angels, and is already making waves all over L.A.. Matthew Landon began acting at the young age of three and hasn’t stopped since.

Always seeking out new forms of expression he has also sang for 14 years (ranked as one of the top 40 bass/baritones in NY under the age of 18 in 2001) as well as dancing for 18 years, specializing in hip hop, jazz and ballet. Matthew attended the highly acclaimed theatre arts program at Sheridan College in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, completing his degree in just three years.

While in Toronto he kept true to his passions starring in shows ranging from Toronto’s Catch A Rising Star, showcases spotlighting rising talent in the city, to Man of La Mancha or Into the Woods. After performing in over almost 50 plays and musicals across the continent, along with paying his dues as dance captain and lead of Six Flags theme park and other summer stock theater as well as Celebrity Cruise line, Matthew found his calling in front of the camera.

Shifting focus from live theater, he can be seen starring in 3 features, 3 shorts, a spin-off series for the Discovery network and 4 commercials in the last two and half years. If that weren’t enough this young talent has laid down over 20 voice-overs in the last 12 months, in between his schedule as a national spokesman of Bacardi rum.

We asked this outgoing but soft spoken creative jack of all trades how he keeps it all together. Matthew simply replied “I love what I do, and am excited with every opportunity I am giving. My favorite quote comes from Jack Lemmon when he was on Inside the Actors Studio he said ‘In everything you do, do it with passion.’ That how I was raised and that’s how I live everyday of my life.” If you haven’t seen this blossoming star yet, grab a hold now, because for Matthew Landon, there is nowhere but up.
