Kick Off the Holiday Season at Pasadena’s Tree Lighting Ceremony
Kick off the holiday season on November 23rd by watching Santa’s arrival at Pasadena’s biggest tree lighting ceremony, and witness all the excitement as Mr. Clause lights the 35-foot tree. Taking place at the Courtyard at One Colorado, the 90th Rose Queen will be there for all of the festivities- which include holiday sing-a-longs- in one of her first public appearances.
Presented by One Colorado, the Old Pasadena Management District, Pasadena Star-News and the Pasadena Jaycees, the ceremony is a free community event, though everyone is asked to bring an unwrapped book or toy for the Charles Cherniss Tournament of Toys toy drive. From 6:30- 9:00 p.m., Santa will be taking pictures with anyone- child or adult- who donates a toy.
Festivities begin at 6:00 p.m. in the courtyard at One Colorado, the outdoor entertainment, dining, and shopping district in Old Pasadena. For more information, call (626) 546- 1066 or visit www.onecolorado.com.
