Stars walked a pink carpet on their way to high-style heaven, otherwise known as Intermix.  The New York fashion favorite has opened its first West Coast store on Robertson Blvd. just across from the Ivy. (Talk about desirable real estate!)

The earliest arrivals to the VIP preview party got the best look at the dazzling clothes, before the full crowd of partygoers arrived and filled every nook and cranny. The store is now open, showing expertly curated selections by Diane von Furstenberg, Calvin Klein, Stella McCartney, Herve Leger, Zac Posen, Matthew Williamson and others.

If you’re in the mood for something enchanting from a well-known designer, Intermix is your store.  If you’re feeling experimental and want to shop up-and-coming designers, Intermix is your store.

From couture to casual, Intermix is it.

Just ask actress Molly Sims, who gushed from the red – pink – carpet, “Intermix is my favorite store.” Explaining that she frequents the New York store, Sims cheered Intermix for its savvy buyers, who put together a stellar collection that makes one-stop shopping easy. 

Sims posed between Intermix owners Khajak and Haro Keledjian, smiling knowingly at each one as she remarked, “two men who love to shop!”

Arriving with her younger brother in tow, Kim Kardashian wore a cropped, midriff-baring oxford shirt and high-waited, wide-leg jeans.

Hills hotties Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge chose the elegant simplicity of the LBD. They appeared together with co-star Whitney Port.

Nicky Hilton wore a silvery number from her own Nicholai line over skinny back pants. 

Perez Hilton’s pink hair matched the pink carpet.

And what about everyone else?  They say that LA is dressing up more these days. True indeed at Intermix.

Lovelies in short dresses and high heels far outnumbered those sporting the dressed-up designer jeans look.

Partygoers enjoyed the DJ sounds of Brent Bolthouse, an open bar and passed appetizers. Servers wore “I heart LA” T-shirts — with a pink heart.

The other color of the night was green.  No, not as in money.  (Though it sure helps to have plenty to shop at Intermix).
