Marcus Samuelsson Served Up His Specialties at the Starbucks in Hollywood
The Marcus Samuelsson event this past Tuesday, August 28 at the Starbucks Hollywood and Highland Complex was a complete success. The Hollywood and Highland location welcomed over 100 hundred people to watch Marcus cook Chocolate Pancakes w/Pineapple Cashew Salad and Beef Stir-fry w/Mango Couscous.
To accompany the dishes, Andrew Linnemann provided a coffee pairing to show the audience how the flavor of the foods and flavor of the coffee complimented each other.
Samples of both dishes and the accompanying coffees were provided to the audience for tasting. After the cooking demonstration, Marcus participated in a book signing for his new cookbook Discovery of a Continent: Foods, Flavors, and Inspirations from Africa.
