On June 2, the Theater for the Performing Arts at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino (formerly the Aladdin) unveiled its newest stage show, The Beauty of Magic with Hans Klok, featuring international superstar Pamela Anderson.  It is a brand new venue for Anderson.  “It’s always been a dream of mine to perform on stage in Las Vegas, but it wasn’t until this show that it’s been right. And to have opening night in front of so many friends was incredible,” said the former Baywatch star.

Among the opening night attendees of the event were Sylvester Stallone, Amy Winehouse, David Hasselhoff, David  LaChapelle, Rita Rudner, Dita von Teese and Planet Hollywood CEO and co-Chairman Robert Earl, just to name a few. 
Klok, esteemed as the world’s fastest magician, said of the spectacular affair, “Opening night on the Las Vegas  Strip – there’s no greater thrill for a performer.  It was greater than I could have imagined.”

Hans Klok may not be a household name in the United States, but in Europe he is widely regarded as the “Dutch David Copperfield". Known as the world’s fastest magician, fresh off his sold-out tour of Europe, his stage show is the narrative of his magical journey since childhood, brilliantly enlisting a young boy to act as little Klok.  He captivates the audience and brings them into his world with beautifully crafted sets, mesmerizing projected backdrops, and exceptional dancers. There are slight of hand tricks, but Klok is best known for his spectacular illusions. In his shows, one would easily find just a pair of legs strolling across the stage.

The beautiful Pamela Anderson was clearly an audience favorite. The sizzling Anderson and cast of more than two dozen dazzled the audience with a series of stunning illusions that had the audience on their feet as the curtain dropped. Anderson’s entrance via a remarkable illusion that brings a poster to life was greeted by wild applause.

Her ability to make fun of herself is an enjoyable part of the program and adds an endearing comedic element. The show is a fantastic culmination of glamour, surprises, intrigue, and good-old fashioned fun. Anderson will be perfoming with the show all summer.

The program has already made such a splash in Las Vegas that tickets are already fast selling out.  There are only a handful of shows left in June.  The Beauty of Magic runs at 7:00pm and 10:00pm, Thursday through Saturday, with blackout dates of June 19, and June 21-23. Tickets range from $39.90 for Level 3 tickets to $71.40 for Level 2 to $113.40 for Level 1 seating.
