From Venice to ancient Greece, every trip to Las Vegas promises a whirl-wind tour around the world.  And now, with the opening of Polly Esther’s at the Stratosphere Hotel and Casino, the Strip also boasts a journey through time.

Polly Esthers, the Statosphere
Polly Esther’s is essentially a mega club with multiple clubs under one roof. It features access to four different rooms, each themed for a different decade and designed by famed Column McCartan, complete with decade-appropriate cocktails. For a night at the disco head over to the Polly Esther’s room which is decked out in 1970s decor featuring a disco ball, authentic lit up dance floor a la Saturday Night Fever where you can dance the night away to tunes from KC & The Sunshine Band, ABBA, Gloria Gaynor and other ‘70s favorites. The room also includes a Brady Brunch shrine where guests can step into Alice’s place and a Partridge Family bus-turned-bar.

In the Culture Club room the atmosphere is decidedly 1980s with a Purple Rain motorcycle, an oversized Rubik’s Cube, as well as a “Back to the Future” DeLorean suspended from the ceiling, all set to music from classic ‘80s artists such as Duran Duran, Prince and Milli Vanilli. The Nerve Ana room is a tribute to all things ‘90s. With cardboard cutouts of the “Beverly Hills: 90210” cast, a mannequin sporting a replica of Monica Lewinski’s infamous blue dress, a Bill Clinton impersonator working the crowd, and even a OJ Simpson-style white Ford Bronco that visitors can sit in while DJs spin a variety of tunes.

And if you are looking for an escape from nostalgia head over to Suite 2000, a spin-off of San Francisco’s premier nightclub Suite one8one, featuring a fusion of New York, LA and Miami.  Where you can also enjoy bottle service and VIP seating while rocking the night away to today’s hottest hip-hop, house, Detroit funk and rock & roll.  Key features of this mega club also include state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems, live shows and DJ music every night with frequent special events throughout the week.

“Las Vegas is the perfect spot for a mega nightclub – Polly Esther’s Las Vegas is a natural for a city that is continually setting the bar higher,” said Artie Lesavoy, vice-president of operations for Polly Esther’s Group. “People flock to Vegas to party, and at Polly Esther’s, the party lasts for four decades.”

The first Polly Esther’s Nightclub opened in New York City in 1991. Since then locations have appeared all across the country with Las Vegas’ high energy club featuring all the trademark elements of its popular predecessors with a “funkier-the-better dress code” according to partner Drew Adelman.
The first Polly Esther’s Nightclub opened in New York City in 1991 and has since expanded to San Francisco, Boca Raton, Princeton, Chicago, Washington D.C., Denver, Philadelphia, Miami’s South Beach, Austin, Houston, San Antonio, San Jose, Portland, Seattle and Montreal. Polly Esther’s is owned by Bob Watman, Drew Adelman, Tim Oullette and the One Industry Group, the company responsible for the Bay Area’s hit clubs Suite One8One, Impala and Mas Sake. Since its inception, Polly Esther’s has received national coverage and attention for the distinctive decor and atmosphere at each club. With a high energy and uniquely safe atmosphere, Polly Esther’s represents “guilty pleasure.”

The grand opening for Polly Esther’s Las Vegas was held March 16th with festivities featuring performances by ‘80s pop star Deborah Gibson, ‘70s icon Danny Bonaduce serving themed drinks from the Partridge Family Bus-Bar and other guest appearances by David Boreanaz from Fox’s hit show “Bones” and former GUESS girl and Victoria Secret model Larissa Bond. Continuing the celebration ‘80s band Flock of Seagulls performed at the club on March 23, with Mario Lopez acting as emcee.
