Training animals since he was a child, Tyson Kilmer knows what it takes to keep a dog in line.? Working first on his own family’s canines,? this self-taught dog trainer’s services quickly became a hot commodity within his neighborhood.? Finding traditional training methods to be ineffective, Tyson created his own system of successful obedience training that reaches dogs of all ages, breeds and temperament.

Having professionally trained dogs throughout his youth, Tyson was approached by a modeling scout at the age of 15 and began a lucrative career as a professional model.? Though still training dogs as a hobby, Tyson spent the next decade traveling the world and gracing international runways as a model for such high-end designers such as Issey, Hugo Boss, Dolce & Gabbana and Jean Paul Gaultier.? He also graced the pages of many prestigious fashion magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, Elle and Marie Claire among others.

By the age of 25, Tyson lost his passion for modeling and realized how much more enjoyment he has training dogs for his friends and others seeking his expertise.? He soon settled in Los Angeles to launch his dog training company, Tyson Kilmer Dogs Inc., and using his connections in the fashion industry, Tyson instantly became the most sought after dog trainer in Hollywood.? His celebrity clientele includes Sheryl Crow, Rob Lowe, Marilyn Manson, Mike Tyson, Joni Mitchell, Aaron Carter, Rose McGowan, Mark McGrath, Steve Carr and Mathieu Kassovitz, among others.? Despite his success in Hollywood, Tyson most enjoys training dogs for those people who want to live in harmony with their canine companions.

With the enormous success of his dog training company, Tyson wanted to offer his techniques to the people across the globe by releasing a series of dog training videos.? Coming out later this year, the videos will teach everyone basic dog training, home obedience and advance off leash training. Tyson also just released his two books, “Live With Dogs” and “The Dog Lover”.? The two books consist of teaching the average dog owner how to approach living with their dog.? Tyson illustrates the four basic commandments, how to pee and poop on command, no chewing on the furniture, no jumping, nipping or biting to advanced off leash.

The “Tyson Method” will not only teach basic commands to canines, but will also provide owners with a lifestyle training.? While learning how to use hand signals, body movements and verbal cues to train man’s best friend, owners will gain the skills necessary to strike a healthy balance of mutual respect with their pets. As Tyson always says, “A happy healthy dog is one that knows his or her place in the family tree.”

  • Helloo Tyson! You were referred to me by a young lady who saw your bloodhound segment on Animal Planet a number of weeks ago. She then saw my ad for my “lost” 22 month old german shepard puppy Jack, who is residing in a lovely wooded area (approx 90 acres of pristine woodland, corn and wheat fields and ponds just over the lake across a Hwy and thru the woods one mile south of my cabin. I have (believe it or not!) successfully tracked Jack for over three months to this area. Hunting season begins the 9th of Sept for bows and the 10th of Oct. for Deer. He was quite abused , locked in a barn with no exercise nor ample sunlight for over 16 months. He is terrified of adults and will not come to anyone, go in a live trap etc. He is eating wonderfully, I am currently feeding the entire wooded population in this acreage, meanwhile the raccoons are getting really pudgy! I have all of the critters in the hood picnicking on hidden cameras!!! I have a wild animal expert I can fly in from Idaho to tranq Jack with an air gun HOWEVER I need dogs to track Jack once tranquilized. PLEASE tell me you know of someone preferably in the Midwest I could bring in to do this. I look forward to your timely response. Thank you in advance!
