Melanie Segal's Platinum Hollywood Luxury SuiteMelanie Segal of Platinum Publicity will present the most luxurious Gift Suite to honor the nominees and presenters of the 79th Annual Academy Awards.

The Platinum Hollywood Luxury Oscar Suite will take place in an exclusive Penthouse in an undisclosed location with awe-inspiring floor to ceiling views overlooking the whole of Los Angeles and surrounded by the Hollywood Hills homes of the stars, many of whom may be in attendance!

The suite will feature amazing and breathtaking gifts, including a $1,000,000 diamond-encrusted Chi Flat iron that will be used to style celebrity hair – it has its own security team and Brinks truck!  For the ultimate in pampered luxury, Chi stylists will even be sprinkling diamond dust in the celeb’s hair.

Celebrities will also be signing the Oscar Celebrity Board with the Celebrity Sharpie Pen – encrusted with 2,000 Swarovski Crystals.

Other gifting highlights include electronics, jewelry, watches, wines/liquors, luggage, make-up, handbags, clothing, cologne, shoes, digital cameras, lasik eye surgery, spa packages and much more.

But all this indulgence is not in vain. The Chi diamond flat iron and the Celebrity Board and Sharpie Pen will be auctioned off to raise money for victims of Blood Diamonds. The Suite will also be raising money to save Darfur. While many gift suites benefit charities, Segal is also doing something entirely unique; She will be giving the celebrities the option of discretely and privately donating any of the products they receive at the event to be auctioned off for victims of Blood Diamonds and Darfur upon exiting the suite.

The Platinum Hollywood Luxury Suite will be open to celebrities and media VIP’s on Friday, February 23 through Saturday February 24. The 2007 Academy Awards will be held at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood on Sunday, February 25. Click here for more on the Oscars and a list of the nominees
