Hit the Road for the Santa Fe Art Auction 2006
Calling all art collectors: If you love Western art, take a road trip this weekend to New Mexico for the 2006 Annual Santa Fe Art Auction. The event is the largest auction of classic Western American art in the southwest. This year’s auction will be held at the Eldorado Hotel in downtown Santa Fe.
Since 1994, the Santa Fe Art Auction has maintained a reputation for representing distinctive works of classic Western American art. The primary focus of the auction is works by artists of the Santa Fe Art Colony and the Taos Society of Artists, as well as historically recognized painters and sculptors of the American West. Works of modern and contemporary art are offered as well.
